Wilesco has been around since 1912, but they weren't always known for their steam engine manufacturing. In fact the company even ran under a different name Wilhelm Schröder GmbH & co. It wasn't until 1950, when they began producing Model Steam Engines. Ever since Wilesco (as its now known by) has grown to be one of the top manufacturers in Model Steam Engines, and usually are a reliable option.
