Calling all wargaming enthusiasts and miniature modellers! It’s time to put your skills to the test in the Kromlech Komp, an exciting painting and modelling competition hosted by Hearns Hobbies in partnership with HobbyMan Narre Warren.
Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just getting started, this is your chance to display your creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail while competing for fantastic prizes!
Competition Categories
Category #1 – KROMLECH
Entries in this category must feature models from the Kromlech range, whether as a standalone piece, part of a diorama, or even a scratch-built model incorporating Kromlech components.
Category #2 – GENERAL WARGAMING
This category is open to all other brands of wargaming miniatures, including figures, vehicles, and dioramas. If you love painting and customizing wargaming models, this is your chance to shine!

How to Enter
- Submit your entry by delivering your model(s) to HobbyMan Narre Warren between Wednesday, April 30th, and Saturday, May 4th.
- Judging and awards will take place on Sunday, May 5th.
- Winning models will be on display in-store until Sunday, May 18th.
- All other entries must be collected by Monday, May 6th, before 3 PM.
Judging Criteria
Models will be judged based on:
- Construction Quality – How well the model is built and assembled.
- Attention to Detail – Fine details, modifications, and overall execution.
- Creativity – Unique interpretations, diorama settings, and storytelling.
- Finish & Paintwork – The quality of painting, shading, and final presentation.
Important Notes
- All models must be fully assembled and painted by the entrant.
- Dioramas and vignettes will be judged as a whole.
- While we take every precaution, entries are submitted at the owner's risk. Hearns Hobbies and HobbyMan Narre Warren are not responsible for any damage or loss during the competition.
